No Sisters!

Colin informed me this morning that God was going to bring him a baby brother. He informs me of this often, so I was not surprised by this statement over breakfast. I told him that it would be wonderful for God to bring him a sibling and that we don't know what we will be blessed with one day...brother or sister! He very seriously told me that he did not want a baby sister and that God was going to bring him a brother only. Again, this is the exact same conversation that we always have. I constantly try to spin it that either one would be amazing, but he always lets me know that a sister is absolutely not an option. Which leads me to believe that we are either destined to have a second son or Colin is going to stop speaking to me if a sister ever shows up. :-)

Another funny thing that I keep forgetting to get written in the blog is Colin's new "dialect" that he uses when playing. He loves to play "store" or "worker" and when he enters into those two modes, he starts saying, "What can I do for ya?" Instead of you, he says ya. The first couple of times he did it, I wondered if it was an accident, but I have since figured out that he uses that phrase specifically when playing some sort of worker. I have no idea where he got that, but it cracks me up!

Ha, well... I have a sneaking suspicion that Colin would have a complete change of heart if he was blessed with a sister instead of a brother. :-) Seems just like that kind of sweet little boy to me.

Well I certainly hope our boys learn to be flexible! Hayden will refuse to even entertain the idea of a brother. His only possibility is baby sister "Roofie". I suppose once we actually have babies here, boy or girl, our silly sons will have to adjust lol!

How adorable! These kids say the silliest of things. Greyson is convinced that there are no more sisters coming in the mix. There can only be a brother as well. They just don't seem to get the concept of not getting to choose.
