You will wind up on ...Yes, it will work itself out. You will wind up on a set schedule in a couple of months. With Gabby, we went back and forth between 1 and 2 naps depending on what she seemed to need that day. I remember doing that from the time she was about 13 months until about 16 months. We just made sure if she did take a morning nap that we didn't let her sleep too long.

One thing that worked for us when we started closing in on just one nap...we would go to a park or a some outing from around 9 to 11, around the time where if Gabby was at home she would start getting sleepy...but the extra stimulation kept her up. Then on the drive home, she would snooze in the car for 20 minutes. The 20 minutes was enough to bridge the gap before the afternoon nap. Not so much that she wouldn't take it, but just enough she could make it until lunch was over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089543843890875715.post-39426010903909331122008-10-13T21:26:00.000-05:002008-10-13T21:26:00.000-05:00I wouldn't stress. If he needs 2 naps, he needs 2 naps.

I sure as hell need 2 naps too! :)

Kate has forced me to pull 2 allnighters in a row. I am so non-functions and cranky. I don't know how I lived a full year with this little sleep. I hate to do it, but I'm not turning on the monitor tonigt (well maybe).Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13994729023866063446noreply@blogger.com
