Jer is HOME!!!!!!!!! YEA YEA YEA YEA!!! He flew in on Tuesday night and Colin and I picked him up at the airport. Colin was so excited to see him and stayed up extra late that night to play with him. He also started sleeping better immediately and seemed to go right back to his old self as far as sleeping is concerned. Which is good because Mama is TIRED! We are all trying to get back to normal and caught up on sleep. It has been a crazy month and I can say without a doubt that life is much better with my sweet husband at HOME. :-)

There is not a lot of news to report...we have been laying low here and catching up on all sorts of things like cleaning and household chores that had to wait while I was being a "single mom". The house is slowly starting to look like less of a dump and more like a house. Jer watched an episode of the Showtime series "Dexter" while he was on the airplane and immediately came home and rented the seasons on DVD. We are officially obsessed with it and it takes up most of our lives now. We are pitiful...we literally run into our bedroom to start it up as soon as Colin goes to bed. It is the best show and I love that I am spending my evenings cozied up to Jer rather than alone watching HGTV. (although I do love some HGTV!) Now that Jer is home, I plan to get back into the swing of things around here...Colin and I are finally going to start his music class at Gymboree and I still want to look into joining the new YMCA that opened down the street. I really like that they have what looks to be like fun childcare for Colin that I could utilize while I work out, but I have not had the chance to pull my act together to get over there. I don't know what their rates are, so it may not work right now, but I plan to check it out! It seems like it might be a good chance for Colin to get some outside socialization. We shall see!

I am so excited for you!! I know you are so happy to have your sweet hubby back home!!

We are new Dexter addicts here too! We just rented the first season a couple weeks ago and we were GLUED to the TV all week until we watched the whole season. We haven't gone and gotten season 2 yet because I know we'd want to watch it nonstop and we haven't had the time yet.
